In addition to traditional and well known varieties such as AC Metcalfe and CDC Copeland, Canada has a suite of new malting barley varieties with very strong agronomics and excellent malting and brewing quality characteristics including AAC Synergy, AAC Connect, CDC Bow and CDC Fraser that are already commercially available. The Variety Quality Overview sheets below highlight data from breeders provided in the registration process, as well as CMBTC pilot scale malting and brewing quality results.
